I think it’s more like they want people to quit so it screws the company. I’m not coming back. So makes me no diff….

Y’all pay attention. The absence of Union dues and tier 2 taxes of 4.9% do not make a $20/hr job equal to a $33/hr job. Even if you could find a job with similar health benefits it would still take $29/hr to be equal take home pay. Don’t fall for the nonsense people tell themselves when they get furloughed. They just trying to get you to quit so they might get a call back.

Y’all pay attention. Quit looking at the hourly pay. Every time there’s a raise, you keep bringing home the same amount because union dues go up, insurance goes up, etc…. I’m bringing home about the same amount I was 15 yrs ago at $21.83/hr. NS and unions are a joke

The same as it was 18 months ago when the final contract expires.

Subtract all of the bs taken out like union dues, tier 1&2, insurance, etc and it’s realistically more like $21-23/hr

$33 per hour. Don't forget all that forced overtime also. Oh and don't forget that other pay also. That's the pay that your going to pay with your knees, back etc. depending on where you work.
