Good work life balance. Lots of time off. Great boss. Anyone else?
No I’m not being deceptive or sarcastic.

To the poster that loves their job, come talk to me after you've been here awhile
Everyone's enthused when it's brandy-new. Snowflake.

A very small vocal minority hate their job so much that they continuously post on this website, yet never take action to improve their situation.
For every 1 person that proclaims they like their job there are 10 that don't. The problem I see is the core business employees, claims and underwriting, are treated poorly, overworked and underpaid for what is expected from them. All of the non-customer-facing jobs that are coveted and held in higher esteem by the company would have nothing to do without the employees who actually keep the promise. Leading from the rear has never been a winning strategy but one this company seems to embrace.
I do work at State Farm
OP never said they worked at state farm
2zsm…yeah big 3rd party integration show with “leadership” like already predetermined especially in ET. It’s a bunch of deep fakes trying to be experts and using people
Okay with VP and get his shady stuff done and your a director or Manager. nepotism in the community and insurance should have stopped a long time ago. Now worse than ever. A buddy thing now and that’s how HR and especially systems does it. Money stays in the circle. And agendas and hands
Nothing new. Just more blatant now
Someone trying to sell entry level job. Bahahaha! They will never be able to get the work force they once had because of how they set up the sh*t show they have now.
One purpose of entry level jobs us to give incentive to improve yourself so that you get a better paying and more enjoyable job.
Also not in underwriting or claims or you would be singing a different tune.
I like my job and my team and my area. I can use my vacation any time I want and genuinely enjoy the work. No, I’m not in claims and don’t put me down because I like that I do. I am well compensated and that is because my skill is high in demand.
I genuinely think the environment varies by department. Claims sounds horrible.
OP. Probably an LDA.
If OP really liked their job that much, they wouldn't be posting on this website.
Boy Someone drank the whole bottle of Kool Aid!
No way OP works in claims…..
Heads up people! If you have a co worker or multiple co workers who only consider their own well being, can you imagine the work environment. Chaos! Customers who get inferior service results. If I was in that environment, it would be resignation immediately.
Lots of time off??? You clearly do not work in claims in any capacity.

I determine my own worth.
I'm very sorry for you if you let your self worth be determined by others.
We may have hit in the main issue here
I’m guessing OP either works in HR or is one of the many useless “analysts.”

I doubt it is more than 3 years, then retire with pension, SS, and a large net worth.
If you are valuable to an employer, or you are good at self employment, then you will be rewarded for your abilities.
If you aren't of value, then you get stuck in a job you hate, or get government assistance.
Definitely part of the problem, not the solution. I give him/her 5 years max. Then come talk to me.

You don't need tenure if you are qualified at what you do and provide benefit to an employer.
Same here.
5 days a week in office every 13 weeks isn't bad.
I could have negotiated more, but I'm still happy with the compensation.
I guess getting a job, working full time, getting an MBA in the evening finally paid off.
