When I get bored I come back to read the boards to see what's up and I gotta say, this one put a huge smile on my face knowing everything he was involved in.

Now if only somehow someone would boot SR.

Good luck to all of you still there.

Layoffs, layoffs and more layoffs. Another 1000 will be cut company wide.

Old COO (WB) was brought in 2018 as an expert on cost cutting to help SR pull the guts out of the company. That happened for sure. He wasn't useful anymore after all the blood was squeezed from the stone. Ironic, the guy responsible for thousands of layoffs with SR gets layed off. Don't feel sad for him, he is getting a solid severance. A lot more than 1 month pay for sure!

SR now needs an operator who knows how to run parks on the dirt cheap and squeeze out every single dollar - the animals, guest experience and safety comes second - making money comes first. Every SIX Flags is a disgusting dump, but they are good at making money with much lower operating costs than SEA. The guest experience is already embarrassing inside the parks - watch what happens now. It is what it is.

Ditto for me. I’ve been preparing a new resume. Bring it Sea World. I’m ready.

I’ve heard the same thing. We will all be on the unemployment line soon. Being replaced by cheaper labor. Oh well it’s been fun.

Who cares, just be prepared for more layoffs. I have an inside scoop that anyone with 10 years or more will be let go. All parks all department. The balance sheet looks awful. Company still burning cash and losing its a-s.
