Slow days are the worst, and I think there have never been slower days in our store than there are now.
Some would say it’s better than being overwhelmed with work, but I prefer when the store is alive and in the selling spirit.
It's hard not to be anxious when the situation is like this?
I redirect negative thoughts to looking for a new job.

Thanks for letting me know 6 stores. Sarcaism ..... Either Daytona , St Augustine or Southside biggest chances. Daytona closes they can go down the road to Orange City. St Augustine closes they can go north to jax stores and Southside no explaining needed.
Then you aware there are 4 stores in Jacksonville right?? One in Daytona and one in st augustine. So 6 stores would be in danger? Doubtful

No one around here knows anything about any "big meeting" before the next earnings call on Wednesday. It must be another gathering of the My Pillow trolls, like the last two times there were "big meetings" that didn't happen.

I can assure you the closing that are coming will be a big surprise. I am in the meetings and some stores will be closing before Thanksgiving.
If you would have the read the information correctly back in September the majority of the stores are bed bath and beyond not ones that have Harmon and buy buy baby. Daytona and Jacksonville have both.
I'm sorry, but "stores closing" isn't news. July 2020, it was announced 200 stores would close over the next two years. It hasn't been two years, and they haven't closed 200 stores yet. So, yes, there will be more.
Big meeting today. Florida to see increase in store closings. East coast to see many close. Daytona , St Augustine and Jacksonville stores in danger .

Extremely slow at our store too. Hours are being cut more and only manager and supervisor covering for afternoon hours by themselves.
