Agree and when your full days job is addressing fires and critical it means no breaks, no lunch and if your lucky a 12 hour day. Who in there right mind would recommend to someone they respect to join this environment.

Some people may not believe the comments about having to do 3 jobs. Let me assure you it's 100% true in a lot of cases. It started in late 2018 when the first large rounds of IRIF's happened and has progressively gotten worse every year since. In the beginning I saw many people take on half or full time responsibilities in addition to their current role and now they're doing what 3 people used to do. Things are getting prioritized as "critical" or "on fire" and that's about all you have time to do.
Job security is non existent. You will be laid off the moment you show you can't do the job of 3 people. Leave while you can.
Low pay, lower benefits and no, none , nada job security!
Start ups are very sensitive to the specific value you bring and how you’ll fit and contribute to their culture... being from xerox puts you in a disadvantage in both respects.
In my job search I found the brand name doesn’t carry much weight anymore. The start ups could care less about Xerox and view the company as a dinosaur..
The biggest opportunity associated with working for Xerox is to use the brand recognition to get out, and to get paid while searching for a new job.
I would never recommend taking a position at Xerox - look elsewhere. Especially given that the current economic bo-m will not be lasting. The layoff volume will only get worse when a downturn hits, and the environment will grow even more toxic.
You must be kidding …Job security is ZERO!
I’m at a competitor and have zero interest in zerox. That said I got morbid curiosity with your out of control dumpster fire in Canada... what is an “Account General Manager?” Tried to read the nonsensical / terrifying role description for the “AGM” position in Toronto but lost consciousness and soiled myself half way through. I thought you guys were laying people off? Shedding the old and replacing with cheaper / younger? Classy. “Never let a good crisis go to waste”. Good luck xeroids!
