For now, it all works somehow and will work as long as there are those employees who work hard despite being overloaded with jobs that need to be done by several employees.
However, there are fewer and fewer hard workers, and there are more and more people here who are neither interested in their work nor trying to do it well. Standards are falling and I wonder how sustainable all this is?

Guess the nationally advertised "job fair" didn't bring em in?
$15 @ hr at Chipotle, same at Target, among so so many companies hiri g above that wage. Profitable, sustainable companies that offer great bennies, 401s, retirement options and real management...that cares about the teams. Nevermind civil service with their cush jovs begging for workers.
While cynacism and skepticism runs deep on this site, optimism and kool-aide cheer and support still evident on sites like Indeed. Sites that actually name store locations! Guess those associates are who are keeping the sinking ship afloat.
Meanwhile Sycko still looking to sp2ebd billions on OfficeDepot, while it's new fleet of aged cruise ships still sit drydocked racking up more expenses. But hey, money is still cheap. Below zero rates and so much more to entice corporate the raiders
Belk caused hard workers to stop carrying. The more you do for this company the more they want. NO ONE is appreciated for their work. People are worked to the breaking point. How long did they think loyal employees would last like this. Maybe they don't care. After all they can hire new people and pay them less until they get tired of it.
Belk doesn't care if we care. The stores look awful and thats find with management. We that care get our hours cut and worse.
