Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Enough is enough.

I have been with the company for many years. This year is the worse. I work on support basically we do everything in our store. Schedules are done 2 days before the week ends. So basically we have to went for schedule to make plans. Also we come on early around 5am and some of us have a key and code to disarm the store. And it’s always the same 2 that open. The third casually strolls in after 5am. Told our ovm. We are complaining to much. And this same person has the ba--s to tell one of the ovm that the one of the two who has the key for store is off. So she doesn’t come in before 5 to open

After the store opens, there aren’t enough people either. Some depts. have one opener who comes in about 10:30 to 10:45 and one part-time closer who comes in about 3, 4, 5, or 6. Other depts. have no one the whole day. Sales managers ring and cover breaks throughout the day and therefore, sales associates have to “manage” depts. throughout the day because the sales managers are with customers.
