The best way to know how messed up things are at State Farm right now is by listening to employees. So many people I know are fearing being laid off AND not being laid off simultaneously. People can't decide which of the two would be the worse option and that tells you all you need to know about this place.

I don’t see auto insurance as a whole under the new presidency, and self driving AI lasting much longer than the current gas vehicles being bought out today and maybe a few more years.
I got made fun of when I said the EV companies are going to want to fix and handle their own vehicles. State Farm could no longer compete with the the manufacturers interest rates so we lost the bank, nor could keep up with the hospitality of a local bank.
There’s 0 way they could compete with Nikola, Tesla, GMC, and Ford. Let alone what’s next here in the short future with Apple now getting in the talks of assisting and designing self driving vehicles.
If you want to laugh at my post go out west, last time I was there I had a robot safely cross the street to deliver my chipotle, saw a guy flying with a jet pack, and I wasn’t even in Silicon Valley was blown away.

Words are deceiving “Leaders” are throwing out the narrative of “major cutbacks” cause we gotta keep up with Geico and Art intelligence claims model. I have Geico I and don’t trust or like Claims handling rules and a paper pushing online process with bad decisions and customer gets stuck doing all the work. CLUE and MVR reports lack integrity and insurance industry is aiding in that now. Consumers have zero recourse. Attorneys are aiding it too. $$$

Microeconomics! Maximizing utility. That is what SF is doing. They are rolling in money on investments at its labor cost. They are using you and you don't need rocket science to figure it out. Little do they know, if they shift quantity supply lines too far, the law of diminishing returns will sound alarms. Watch...you will see. It's just a matter of time. They think tech and vendors will slow the shift down but in reality it will speed it up leaving them all pointing fingers at each other. It's not the good ol days boys! Today's generation will walk out leaving you hold the blame unlike the ones who put blood, sweat and tears just by believing the narrative.
SF isn't the only employer. They want you to believe they are. Remember you came there looking for a job and you can leave there looking for a job. The stress and adverse health effects are not worth it.
If you know things are messed up, why do you stick around? Start looking for something else. That’s what I did.
