Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Sent my son to Lowe’s to get a chain saw, bar oil and 2 cycle oil additive. I said ask someone who works there they will hook you up with the right products. Nope he stood around for 45 mins waiting for someone to help. Then the kid who looked high he said gave him the chain saw, 2cycle additive, NO BAR OIL! Former employee Lowe’s let’s the good ones leave now look who Lowe’s has. Most of the employees never touched a roof, concrete, block, welded, drywall. Lumber Ha what joke.
I reapplied to a store closer to my home for the same position I had previous. They burn three people in the position I had. Some can not do it. Some think they can and f it up. Got offer at the other store way lower than before. I can take fridges apart, I can hook up dryers and washers. I can carry appliances up 3 flights of stairs. But not for less money and bi weekly pay. Never again am I shopping Lowe’s or applying for the job that the stores around me I applied to can keep the position filled. Now I’m making $33 an hour and not busting my back. I think the people feel threaten that I might take their job because they don’t have any customer service skills. If you can even find an employee when you walk into the store. Albany Ny, Halfmoon NY, Schenectady NY. Saratoga NY Amsterdam NY Glenmont NY, Troy NY. All of them can’t keep a quality driver more than 2-4 months there are a couple people who been at these places a year maybe 2. Marv is getting his bonus at the expense of Lowe’s Name!
