Glenn Richter, the former CFO of TIAA is gone and replaced by an “acting” CFO. The odd part is there was no announcement of any kind as to why Richter is out. Retirement? Replaced by the new CEO? Found another job? No press release of any kind which is strange for such a high level exec at such a big company. He was still CEO as of 4/29/21. Now he’s just gone with no explanation. EVen when a new CEO replaces execs, they usually keep the CFO around until they have a full knowledge of the new companies financial operations. It’s just strange. What happened to Glenn Richter??

The employee relations perp that is now Sr Mgr of experience had all the data on that and told her close buds at TIAA then they would spread gossip of all of those PIP’s , terms, lawsuits, etc! Can’t keep private info private! Used that info to get promoted! And watch out for that fake and on social media all day!
He apparently resigned on his own a few days before the new CEO started. They're keeping him on as an advisor until July 31st. It's in the newest executive compensation report/brochure on the website.
any updates?
Unlikely. Everyone I knew at TIAA who tried to take off for personal/medical reasons was put on a Performance Improvement Plan and terminated soon after.
Maybe he didn't leave but took time off for personal reasons.
