You have us watch watch cultural, disability, harrasment, racism, prejudice courses/ videos.
Yet, Belk does not treat their long time, elderly, disabled employees right.
I've seen younger employees with a brace/ cast, seniors on a cane stand all day/ night long.
Personally I wouldnt mind if they were allowed to sit. But obviously Belk has a problem with it, shame on you Belk.

Well chemo (for example)) is tricky....one doesn't really know what day it hits you, and it hits you hard! So getting a Dx note/letter isn't really going to cover that. I totally get what you're saying! If only it were that easy! 😕
If you are being treated for cancer, recovering from a heart attack or have some other kind of physical challenge, why aren't you getting a Dr. to complete a form letter so you can get an accommodation for having additional breaks or time to sit down?
Try having a mental illness. I am currently performing at my highest level of my entire long history at Belk, but there are bad personalities in my department, and despite my telling people that actual real abuse is happening no one believes me, because I am such an easy target because I have an exceptionally bad one, and I am obviously the problem. I have been desperately looking for an UPSTANDER and the only advice I can find is, "You need to just leave."

The "new" Belk doesn't give a cr-p about their employees anymore! Joined the company in 2013, got cancer in 2018, got fired in 2021! And I kicked some a$$ for this company! Super sad the way things are going! Thanks Sycamore 😭😭😭
Returned from heart attack 2 weeks. Made to work 8 hour shift standing all day. Said schedule couldn't be changed. Person couldn't make the whole shift was to exhausted.

Or have an illness let's say cancer and after chemo if one doesn't feel well, and calls out sick........well one gets fired!
