Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Resignation then coming back

Does Lowe’s still have the policy where if you leave and then come back within 6 months you still retain your years of service for vacation time etc?

Here’s what you need to do: Don’t come back! It only gets worse at Lowe’s. Don’t open old wounds unless you are a sadist.

Everyone that terminates has a rehire code put in their file and electronic record. It used to be either “yes”, “no’”, or “provisional”, it might still be that way. As long as you were not terminated for violation of company rules, (stealing, fraud, fighting, se-ual harrassment, etc)or some other kind of gross misconduct then you are generally rehirable. “provisional” used to mean that an RVP had to approve your rehire. When you terminate, for however long, you start over on vacation time and any other benefits that come with years of service if you are rehired.

Yes but they don’t hire back if you resign they get bu-t hurt over the fact. And they offer you less pay than before.
