I don’t know if I’ve ever been less motivated to work here and more motivated to get out of here. Also, I never felt so stuck in any company. I’ve sent an enormous amount of applications for some new solid job I’ve been looking for months. What are your experiences with looking for a new job?

Be patient. Network, both online and in-person. Hire a professional resume writer or career coach to help with the application and interview process. If you are looking for a job in O&G things are picking up and I’m starting to get calls and emails.
I understand your position, I’m working harder and more hours than ever - with no recognition, no development, and no compensation reward. I have felt this way for a couple of years, but it has escalated in the last few months.
Also sending out applications. Found someone to review my resume and recommend current best format and wording. Definitely have to find something that will let me grow. Stuck way too long here with no career development or path for promotion. Change isn’t always easy, but it has become necessary.
There are plenty of opportunities out there, and I would also check back with your network on others. I’ve got my second interview coming up with a company that is more stable and actually wants to help their personnel develop. The only reason I know about them, is that I have colleagues that worked there. The only negative is it will require me to move.
