Do my eyes deceive me? Did I wake up to see that they finally got rid of the dusty ole spider? OMG!! I never thought I would see the day that they would get rid of the most unethical officer in the company. Ironically heading up the ethics and compliance department of all things. And of course corporate America would give him a million or so taken off the backs of the workers actually driving value that have been kicked to the way side like pieces of trash. He has done nothing but prolong the so called “good-ole-boy” network that has led to the demise of the company.

New board didn’t want to pay them what their contracts guaranteed them. So they all left as a result and took the severance that was guaranteed in their contracts. Pretty simple. New board - saving money and getting rid of some miserably incompetent people that should have never been there in the first place.

Perhaps because they did what rats do when they realize that the sinking boat is almost completely underwater ?

We all believe that three SVPs decided to resign on one day just like we all believe that DL resigned on his own as well. Yeah right. It took a new board that was not as equally corrupt as they were to make some changes. Unfortunately it’s too late to save the company and it’s employees. It will get pieced out and sold to the wind and all the corporate peakers will be left looking for another job in a jobless city. It’s a good thing you donated all that money to the pac so the politicians can save you now! 😂
Fyi they didn’t get fired - they quit. Friend in hr confirmed what I thought that they used their contracts to trigger “term without cause” and get a bunch of money to leave. So glad I got packaged out in February.
I was told talk show host quit. What did Spider-Man do that was unethical? He fired me about four layoffs ago but never saw that
But is the talk show host still there? That’s what we all really want to know. He has to be running out of people to interview and spread propaganda.
That company is sooooo toxic. They have been doomed for some time now. It is what it is. Use them to get a little experience and move on quick. If you are still working there and making north of $125k working out of the OKC area, good luck is all I can say. There are no good paying jobs there anymore and if you are still at CHK, that will hurt you on your resume. Word has gotten out about that company. Good luck selling those fancy homes you financed on that big salary. Whose going to buy it when they go belly up in the next 12-18 months? It has been lack of leadership, poor decisions, no accountability, putting the shareholders in front of the employee, and you nailed it, the good ole boy system that has brought the once great Chesapeake to its knees. Don’t even get me started on my soap box about accountability and the lack thereof!
