Management was fat, d-mb and happy until mid eighties ..Lack of vision and Xerox bureaucracy failed to capitalize on innovative
technology, the mouse, personal computer and ethernet.Xerox left the door wide open for the competition to take their technology
and use it against them. Fat cat management
was caught asleep at the wheel..

They had their time of growth now it is a death spiral - that’s how it goes. On to bigger and better. Forget the past, ki-l it if you must.
I submit it was closer to 40, it began when they invited Steve Jobs to PARC. That mindset was a critical turning point and it was freefall from there and right now the ground is coming up fast.
