Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

ILR and Express

Are ILR and Express CAs going back to the office full time? I hope so. Those jokes need as much supervision as possible. If you aren’t smart enough to add 2+2 then you have no business working more than 5 feet from your TM.
The WFH should be reserved for CS’s.

CS's in stewardship have issues with contacting their insured ect due to the fact they have to be inbound call centers for everyone while managing their own claims. Most CS's at that level are trying desperately to do their own work while they do the work of others who are not in or busy. It sucks but the pay is far better than ramen noodles and poverty the CA level will bring you, for less headaches on issues i guess.

either way its not a fun career at any level, and the benefits for enduring this career get less and less yearly. LOTS of jobs outside insurance pay the same for a fraction of the work and BS

You know what separates me from a CS? I’m smart enough to stay at the CA level so I can hand you guys headache customers for your extra 10k a year. I’d rather sell crack than deal with that sh-t lmao.

Hey bro you are god tier smart supposedly.

I don’t blame the handlers. The SCP’s are sh*t and the training is really bad. It was bad before but all virtual is even worse. The SCP’s and JR’s need some help. The information is usually there but it’s not easy to find. It’s also HTML for beginners. We can do better.

But either way, i think there are really big issues in all Claims Departments… Auto, Fire, Medical, Subrogation, SIU, Estimatics, etc. Sure, it starts with ILR but it doesn’t get much better from there.

I won’t generalize all CS, because some do their work efficiently, but to OP and YE28. At least in ILR/Express TM’s can see who’s actually working whether in office or not, but what exactly is it that you do all day? Most of the time a CS is nowhere to be found. 95% of the time u can’t get a CS on the phone. Customers constantly complaining about not being able to contact the CS assigned to a claim or after leaving several messages there is no follow up, so please don’t talk about being lazy and ILR/Express “needing to be supervised” . Seems to me that some CS need to be “supervised” because they obviously have some slackers too. You generalize Express and ILR as if you walk on water. They need to put you on the phones 8 hours a day, no task and track your every move and see how great u think u are!!! Your rant and complaint about ILR/Express goes both ways.

Oh please.
CAs can’t even establish liability on typical rear end and hit and run claims.
I’ve never seen a group of lazier and uneducated employees in my life.
It would be better if they just outsource ILR and get rid of Express because we do all their work anyway.

OP is full of sh*t
i do alot of rework for the so called superior CS's claims
as a CA i seen they do the most sloppy work i have ever seen .....

besides you show your lack of knowledge , they announced already how it will work

LOC work remote
everybody else in my dept 5 days per month with 1 week blocks
permanent in office work is only for positions that absolutely require it

I am sure areas such as ILR and Express will have their own plans which may or may not coincide with the info above.

Three classes:
Office - Work in the office 5/38:45
Hybrid - Work in the office 5 days a month
Remote - Never have to go into an office

ILR & Express CA's are "Office" from what I understand.
