Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Compelling Event

So I heard there is a "compelling event" happening at NetApp. Not sure if this means they will finally be acquired or some other big thing. Any news from inside the puzzle palace?

Just another layoff event, last night a number of people were made redundant. NetApp waited till after FY-end this year compared to last year when they did it just before FY-end.

LMFA&FO!!! Come on now Kev, do you really think the company would invest company man hour$ into this bullsh*t? If so, I’ve got an ocean front property in Kansas I’ll sell you for cheap!

Wow. That is quite the conspiracy. For what purpose would these mystical "powers that be" do such a thing?

This is a bait. The powers that be are goading people into searching for "Compelling Event" on work resources to find out who's breaking the code of conduct. Searching a similar string will also bring up a reddit post of a similar nature.
