Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

I really appreciate newbies but...

How is it that I, who have been loyal to this company for almost 10 years and always give my best, can be brought to the same level as someone who came here only recently?
It is humiliating how this company treats people with experience. They don't need experienced employees. It seems to me that they only need those who are easy to manipulate, and we are all treated as numbers.

"It is humiliating how this company treats people with experience." - Well said. Forget about bringing it to the same level, there are some cases where they are two levels up with no industry experience and with no skill. Totally rigged hiring process and bringing in people from previous companies.

They are counting on college hire program to carry this company. GOOD LUCK.

Because bloated arrogant companies like this only invest in their bottom line. Normally that’s fine - it’s a business and should profit immensely - but well run organizations recognize the value in fostering employer satisfaction and longevity. Look at their 401k vesting schedule. You don’t get a plug nickel of the match until 3 years - not even a percentage. They’re counting on you to be out the door before then. All my former employers did the opposite. They believed a good employee was worth the gamble. The upper management of this company is as toxic as much of their products. I get indigestion from both.
