US based workers really can't win here.
Big money is searching for cheap labor and it's been legal to offshore it since at least NAFTA.
US workers are up against having to pay full retail and inflated prices for everything, but having to compete with 3rd world labor rates... that's "rock and a hard place" if there ever was one.
We are still laying off people in the US and offshoring the work to developing countries, like India.
IBM did not hire more Americans under Trumps' "Buy American and Hire American" movement.
