Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Founders week?

Your thoughts on founders week? This week we were allowed a team huddle, no mention of it due to a backlog of directives due to huddles being cancelled the last month. Only reason I noticed was the home page. You need to make a special account to participated, and you need to sign up.

Has anyone actually done anything related to founders week? Everyone ive talked to hasnt done a thing and keep asking the same question: "does anyone actually have time for this, if so who?"

Basically founders week hasnt made room for claim handlers and a bunch of us are curious which departments are allowing participation. Not that im interested in a zoom concert, online aquarium (lol?), or a magic show....im unfortunately an adult. Would be nice to allow some form of break from the monotony of dealing with SF's massive staffing problem caused by managements cheapness.

Remember who has and will have the last laugh. It will always be who you least expect and the one you thought had the comedy act. It's always the one they made fun of and gave the hard time to. The one they gave the hard time to and laughed at is the comedian who took a limo to the show while the attendees drove their government motors corporation junk to the show. They were so smart they bailed out GM then paid them for a car. On top of that they endorsed a company that couldn't build ventilators. Go figure! These are the educated elite. GO FORD! I will always stick up for the minions. They are the true heroes of SF! Thank you minions for all you do. I have faith in you not THEM!

Next year's Founder's Day will be the 100th anniversary of State Farm. As I lord over the proceedings I will bask in the glow, knowing I singlehandedly turned this company around and saved it from extinction.

I find it amusing that they initially were not even capable of sending an email correctly. Like Founders Day is so important but cannot be bothered to send out an email which is not broken.

To be honest it’s rare I even look at the home page, this post just reminded me it’s founders week. I didn’t even know these childish activities existed. Jesus lord have mercy Im praying extra hard now the company I just interviewed with hires me.

Third parties and sites giving us fun fun fun. Like kindergartners. No thanks. I’ll pass. An givf card “network” is odd too. Must get kickbacks from the ones participating

All so childish and no time for it anyway.

Does anyone give a d&mn about founders week when nothing about SF today carries any of the principles from when the founder started the company? Such a joke.

I don't get why I need to make an account to access any of this stuff, that's a bit strange don't you think?

Its the same when we had an "ice cream social" we had before we went to WFH....passed out during peak times, half melted on handers desks the other half declined due to having to work, we all wondered why the word social was involved if the intention was we eat ice cream in wrap up at our desk then take a call after.

Point is this is a celebratory event that we cannot participate in. In fact not a word from management about founders week, had the home page not displayed it, i wouldnt have known.

Im not asking for a paid vacation, or a company picnic ect....just that if they do something fun that they allow their employees to participate is all.....this is why i asked who this was for...its not for handlers in ANY department, so who is it for? Our managers?

@tqs+1bg5YkhS

he and alot of common folks aka claim handlers were expecting something we the common folk could partake in

the problem is all this events happen during work hours and they dont give us any time off to even partake , a lot of these events are live so we don't get to partake, only those in cushy positions who don't have a Verint schedule to adhere and metrics to meet get to partake, basically the Elite partake, the peons dont.
