Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

I need some time off

Is there a way to get stress leave approved at PepsiCo? I need to stay away for a few weeks or I will break. I'm so overworked and stressed out that it's having a disastrous effect on my mental health. I'd quit if I could afford it, but I can't. I've been trying to find a new job but with the little free time I have, it hasn't been going well.

We will all get the time off we need once they get rid of the last few departments and move them to India

Its just ridiculous asking us to work for 7 days a week and 12+ hours every single day. Don't we have labor laws against this?

Sadly, you are likely one of thousands in this horrid organization who are burning out. Yet the management of this stinking place could care less and see you as nothing but a financial liability on their books. Hopefully for now you can at least get some time off approved. Long term - no question getting out of this nightmare woke company is the cure. Good luck!

Go to mypepsico.com and search leave of absence for options:

Managers and Human Resources may approve a personal leave, balancing business needs with the urgency of your personal situation. Most personal leaves are for a short time.

All requests for personal leave must be approved by your manager and Human Resources.

See if you can get a diagnosis by a doctor. That would help I. The decision process.
