Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

What would it take for you to stay?

At this point, nothing could keep me here anymore, not even a few dollars more. Why, because I'm sure if I got more money I would have to work under more pressure, and even now that pressure is unbearable.
I have been experiencing different types of abuse here for a long time, from being overwhelmed with work, micromanagement, unfair scheduling and much more. This company is a disaster.

see i use that scheduling system to my advantage. see i sonehow managed to become an asset to the store so i be coming in late, leaving early, just scooping hours up whenever i’m bored all because i put in more work than any of these cumquats. and they love me. if you’re being mistreated i apologize but try being useful? they literally can’t replace useful/helpful people they are hard to find escpecially now

As I recall not too many years ago lowes surpassed Sears ias # sales of appliances and grills. This question begs to be asked why all the changes in those two depts.

Left 4 years ago after a very long career with the company when all the current changes began with the 2017 restructure. Every aspect of my life has improved dramatically since then.

The changes that have been made were for the benefit of the company's bottom line and NOT for the employees. Period. Some departments have experienced little impact (aside from scheduling), while others have been repeatedly body slammed (example appliances) or completely eliminated (LP, HR, PSI, store install sales office, RTM, assembly, facilities, box truck delivery and 100% of Orchard Supply). See little motivation by corporate to change their ways. Eventually our consumers will start to feel the pain and take their wallets elsewhere. God knows the customer complaints are rolling in but corporate appears oblivious as long as the stock price keeps going up.

Doubtful the wizard behind the curtain has many tricks left up his sleeve and expect the flimsy quickly assembled house of cards will soon start to crumble. Already seeing it with the mass exodus of our seasoned staff (yes the ones that many of our customers come in to specifically see and the ones that bring in the most $$$). Moving forward corporate would be well advised to remember exactly where all those cash registers are located.
