Unfortunately, in my case it is impossible, but I have such a desire to get out of here and I have never sent so many job applications before, all in the hope of getting out of here as soon as possible. I waited for layoff too long and lost precious time. I will accept the first decent option that is offered to me because there is really no point in staying here anymore. I feel sick when I see how this company works.

I just recently made the decision to look for a new job, and happy to say I just landed one. 15k more in pay, better benefits, 401k match, tuition reimbursement etc.. The opportunities are out there if you are willing to make the effort. Get out as soon as you can.
Relax, we're all sick of the inept leaders who are ushering in the inglorious end of a once respected company. You've made a wise decision applying for jobs and taking control of your career. Stop caring about your job, reduce the hours spent working hard, put your efforts into interview practice.
When the company goes bankrupt and gets torn apart by private equity scavengers you'll be watching from a safe distance in a better job with no regrets.
