Gotta admire his business skills in identifying market opportunities. He gave lots of ineffective top-level management the boot and replaced them with those who could produce while working with the DT owners to help them understand the market in the USA.
T-Mobile's greatest achievements were failing to merge with AT&T and getting in bed with Donald Trump. LOL. What a trashy company.

He is an ex at&t executive that got T-Mobile a lot of cash due to a failed at&t/T-mobile merger. He shmoozed with the trump administration to get the sprint/T-mobile merger approved.
People act like he is cool because he wears Chuck t's, doesn't cut his hair, and uses profanity. He fooled a lot of people and came up.
