Short-sightedness

Why does management get a pass for everything but we have to be flexible and do what’s needed because of mistakes with staffing? Why can’t management be the flexible ones? Why can’t we hire managers who are not short sighted and will staff accordingly? Why can’t they hire dependable people instead of taking anyone off the street? Everyone at our store is suffering because of mismanagement on staffing for over a year.

Goes along with why doesn't management hold certain people accountable for their abuse of attendance policies?

We have a head cashier who basically makes their own schedule and calls off once a week.

Management doesn't care. Just get those credit apps, customer surveys and get your irp's done. As far as hiring dependable or even knowledgeable people they get whoever that will work for less dollars.
I had a part timer that would not do ladders, couldn't use the zebra or even log in on kronos - had to someone else to log in for him.

Because corporate isn't interested in employee complaints. They rank just below customer complaints now.
