Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Whistleblower

To the person who keeps posting about how well off it is financially - What are you doing? Why do you keep coming on here telling everyone that their feelings are invalid and they are just worthless and not good enough while citing glowing reviews of public opinion for the company they are claiming to have exploited them? We are not here to argue over whether it is failing financially from the top down- it is imploding from the inside out. From the outside, it looks like a happy home but its not always easy to see what abuse goes on behind closed doors. We are here to share our stories and offer each other support because there are some sick and twisted practices that need to be exposed. We are survivors and we know people are still stuck in there working like slaves (YES I SAID SLAVES!!) while being gaslighted and made to live in fear of metrics they have NO control over! It's insane!! They do not want to be there but they are brainwashed into believing they are not good enough to get out of an abusive narcissistic employer/employee relationship and we are here for them, not you. YOU ARE VICTIM BLAMING! YOU ARE WAVING THEIR EXPLOITATION IN THEIR FACE! I am not even going to ask you to STFD and STFU. I think you already know WTF I am about to do.

Beings realistic, do NOT post here without a VPN (unless you are Tipsord sycophant) and whatever you do, do NOT post anything negative on social media where you can be identified. Remember, people have been fired for less.

If you don't think SF has programs in place looking for negative comments you're on crack. Crud, we have departments sending out emails asking employees to go to Glass Door and praise SF & Tipsord because the ratings are so bad.

The drones are used for Cat roof/home claims. The SF leased satellite used for other purposes.

Here's the way I look at all this technology. SF started to use drones for homeowners. I guarantee you that if SF used a drone to look at my house, it will be given back to them in 9 million pieces. Once that junk passes the curb and comes on my property, it has stepped over the line. I have no idea what software is in it. Now if they told me which they won't, what the software is in it etc. on a signed affidavit I would consider but only under FULL disclosure. Just a SF customer.

You are under surveillance 24 hours a day-I could tell you how but they will use a secret laser on me. I am not joking, this is real.

Really SF is toxic work environment ...the fake niceness, the constant micro-managing, the constant surveillance of you once you walk through the doors and they are also watching you once you leave the building. You aren't a person but a metric to be managed...that's how you are seen.

Don't tell your manager anything personal about yourself or your family, they will use it against you.
Don't kid yourself into thinking your manager likes you and has your back because they don't and will stab you in the back the first chance they get if it makes them look good.

My question: OK SF is kicking it on profit etc. If profit is so high why is human capital not sustainable?

Interesting points across the board but I would appreciate it if the name calling stopped. Also, I doubt people appear to making a diagnosis without credentials. Please stop.

Dude, what are you TALKING about?? I get that it really, really upsets you that "everyone keeps saying" SF is failing financially, but who is the one who is whining like a baby? Deep down are you really worried about it, is that it? JD Power says it's great, right? Why are you here?? You know the success of the company isn't sustainable under the current state of their human capital, that's why you're mad.

Wow. The OP is emoting. You come here to spew your bs. Everyone keeps saying SF is “sinking” and “failing” blah blah. That’s just patently false by any business measure. SF is ki----g it. Now, you may not like the culture and it may be bad in claims or some areas and they’re are legitimate criticisms. However , when you flat out lie or dribble unintelligent junk you should expect to get called on the carpet. If someone counters with actual facts on SF is doing why whine like baby? If you can’t offer any real counter argument behind your own personal experience then you’ve already lost.

Growth is up the highest it’s ever been
Profit is the highest it’s every been
Customer satisfaction, not just measured by SF but well respected 3rd parties like JD Power show it’s the highest it’s been in a decade and higher than key revivals.

Maybe, just maybe, the model is working!

I hear what you're saying, but there needs to be some canceling done anywhere that uses gaslighting, public shaming, intimidation and fear tactics as a means to drive production and profits. Cancel those who took advantage of the crisis especially. Pure evil. If you want to use human labor then respect humanity.

Oh its just some upper manager letting the handlers know what SF really cares about, how well numerically its doing, and that what the CA/CS workers feel about the job is sorta irrelevant.

Its the same mentality as "just be happy you all have jobs" works when the statements true, then bites you in the rear when other options open.

This is exactly what I don't understand. People make mistakes. That's human. However, when a person makes a mistake, it should never result in name calling etc. People get angry so fast and "get off" on hurting others while at the same time they preach inclusion. It always takes two to fight. Fighting is not the answer. His greatest commandment was to love your God and love one another. Is it really so hard?
Canceling, name calling, and putting the other down creates more hostility. Get to know each other and educate so the end result is productive and not counter productive.
