Does anyone know if the time and half for Friday’s and weekends continues for this month or they did stop it? I have to say it really helped me with my paychecks. I used to work overtime and get paid less, now I just work less hours and just work every Friday-Sunday and get paid more but make sure to keep it under the 50 hours.

The extra pay ends tomorrow June 13
I am a support person at a Macys and I ring customers all the time and help recover the store as well. I also at 60 yrs old and a female unload the trucks and reload outbound trucks because we have no dock lead. Yes we do come on and leave early because we come in at 5 or 6 to set sales with no help. So don't be dumping all over support people because without us you would have nothing to sell. Most sales associates would run back to the floor if you worked a day in my shoes
Yesterday was a busy Saturday and our store went into the day with over ten open shifts, and then we had four people call off. Our staffing was so low that managers were running registers all day and no one was available to put the place back together, so we have stuff all over the floor and our recently reopened fitting rooms are a mess. Our MBA quit because of the new hiring system and no one if hiring anyone with the support we are getting from an MBA at another store. I expect we will be extending the extra pay longer because we can't even get people to show up as it is.
Jewelry sales associates have to do everything like it’s their own store. Some managers cant always help them when they need it because they don’t know jewelry and some are not bonded. Jewelry associates have to how to take links out of watches, describe the details of fine jewelry, remember to document pretty much everything you do, sell worry no more insurance, send out jewelry for repairs and rings to get sized, set the alarm in the night and turn it off in the morning, count, count, count everything accurately and write it down in gigantic old binders.
Jeez, anger management much? Blame the company, not sales associates. And support don’t do more, they don’t wanna help customers and just come early and leave early. Sales associates gotta do everything, we have to close, we have to ring customers, open credits, help customers, clean the fitting rooms, sort fitting room rods, collect the price checkers, run the fitting room and price check rods, help with fulfillment, recover the floor and even help support with their jobs like ticketing and merchandising and markdowns. So yeah, sales do a lot.
Well, aren’t you a little greedy bit*ch, as if sales associates do more than support. We get no extra. F this company
