I see the Selling and Support Captain jobs open all over the place.. most stores have 4 open jobs for this position? isn't this the former lead position? and did they clean house on the old leads that used to work or did they all just quit?

Captain job is a cheap ,cheap ,cheap way for the company to give the responsibility of former manager jobs…ie. AP , receiving or visual for half price. They let those managers go ,but now they’re feeling the loss esp going into Q4. Of the over 20 stores in my region….only 3 have been able to fill a visual captain job…..here comes Christmas…good luck.
Bull cr-p title designed to make a person work harder for the same pay..."I'm a captain"..you are not management. They will just use you. Oh yea you get a red badge...whoopee doo....
Right. There are corrections to be made so when the position is created, the system automatically post these jobs and we have to go in and request them to be unposted externally. Internal colleagues must apply for the position or if we may just need to transfer a current captain to a new area so we need to new area position requisition to be created.
No, "they" didn't clean house; there's people who were supposed to have tbe captain position that didn't and this is how it has to be fixed. The associates have to apply to the job to be put into it.
