It’s been like this for a while now. We are nothing but a number. Leadership doesn’t care about any of us - even though they talk a good game it’s not true. Everyone is bitter and feels overworked but no matter how much we ask there is no relief. There are still people who care about the shape Macy's is in but there is only so much you can do before you give up.

I agree with comment about millennials do not shop at Macy’s. Their parents and grandparents do.
Millennials don’t shop at Macy’s. That’s not good..
macys has only shown a profit of 160 million since covid happen.. they are on thin ice.. they haven't tapped into the 2.3 billion they borrowed yet which is a good sign for now. so this would explain why they are firing managers and high cost employees left and right for d-mbest reasons.. they need to make money for investors.. not you... make sure you understand your blood .sweat and tears is for the investors.. they wanna get rid of all managers in near future and hire grunts to run the store.. look at sears... no managers only store managers.. their are leads but no captains/sales managers anymore same goes for lord and taylor.. kept one manager per floor.. its done..
