This place is looking to cut costs further. That's the only thing this management knows how to do. If you are among those who are high earners, consider yourself as good as gone. Their goal is to replace everybody with people who cost less no matter the quality of work they'll provide. Nobody is safe from this.

@ubbb+1bXoU2Vh definitely knows NetApp, and might be an insider on the SLT. Spot on mate!
strategy is acquire any cloud startup that can add to revenue.. cut equivalent number of people in ONTAP, ESeries, SolidFire.. make it look like revenue is stable or growing slightly and profit likewise by buying back shares. There is no technology direction or vision. Snapshots are everywhere. Storage architecture for ONTAP is weird and doesn't fit cloud. Stock will keep falling to 40s and then with cut back and cloud acquisitions be brought back to 70-80.. rinse and repeat and until George retires. There is no company CTO - the cloud CTO has no idea about on-premise business and no inclination to learn either. The capable old timers that understand strengths and weaknesses are getting removed since they are in top quartile of pay range.
Isn't this the WetNap mo since the dot com bust?! Hasn't been the same since all the employees (including admins) were instant millionaires, parking their exotics out in the lot.
Is this your opinion or something that you picked up from someone reliable?
