I found myself landing a job that involved relocating. It’s in a different industry and I just couldn’t pass it up considering a family member helped me get in. I don’t think of Disney often anymore, not like I did when I was furloughed last year. I hope everyone who was hit is doing good and that life has moved on for you.

What a thoughtful post. I, too, moved on to a different industry, but have continued in the same profession. It’s been a positive change, great team, strong leaders, pay increase, and about the same benefits. The best part is that I’m obtaining a wide-range of experience in my field that I would not have had at Disney in my mid-twenties. Thus, all’s well. I do miss many of my Disney coworkers and managers, sure wish they would reach out to me.
