Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Wow....the slido comments in this ET meeting are very telling.

I've never seen slido comments so targeted towards execs with employee dissatisfaction. We have a record year of growth and Tipsord get's $20 million as a bonus and employees get a less than normal merit. Rumors of another transition plan in the works. People are tired. This State Farm is not the State Farm of old. We are the next GM. How long will our growth/success be determined from lower rates? When will lower rates no longer be viable?

I heard in the last exec briefing MT held that the reason for anonymity being removed was due to racist comments being posted in Yammer from a phone and IP they could not trace. True or False?

Loved the come t about how MT and other execs and VPs “worked so hard” to get to where they are and deserve it.

Give me a break. The industry is corrupt. They apparently they all are on the same path. Gets them to where they want to be.

Getting the feeling VO, Execs and Directors amd mgt and chairman’s council have choreographed messages and seem to lack reality in Theo positions as well as puppets in the industry and all in the same pool of funny money

Number one place may be cool marketing but the race to be a technocracy ran org shows how shallow the org is to its employees and policyholders.

Mutual Funds, Bank and Mortgage are an interesting conversation point, especially for agents. Many on here may wonder why most agents aren’t actively engaged there. Well…. many agents went all out trying to sell those products. As soon as they had a bit of success, the MF were pulled. Then SF decided that the product required far more time, effort, and compliance work than the meager compensation justified. So SF got out of the business but expected agents to stay in? Very similar story for Bank and Mortgage. If SF doesn’t think the business is worth it, why would an agent? People who do those products exclusively, full time, often struggle. I sure can’t do it on an extremely limited part time basis in between all the other junk that comes across my desk.

They equally don’t understand the risks to innocent and poor people and country as a whole.

They want elites at Farm and only those targeted policyholders. They want young amd seasoned puppets and tools. Many Many roles in Systems get paid way way too much for what they are executing amd programming people to think & accept. It’s not “leadership.” It’s a paid for agenda & industry, data amd communications industry con

The agenda is not the “1 SF”. It’s Rhetoric and narratives like “digital end user experience and personalization & AI” sound exciting and cool especially to 3rd party integrators, sales folks, marketing and systems folks. Light minds lead farm.

Agents and employees should research what they are pulling you into and who and what truly is involved. Think deeper. Not like list of SF.

Real big picture thinkers, smart consumers that understand how things really and those that understand tech & data and leads and how it is exploited $$. Get it…. It’s truly a 3rd party show at consumers and agents a expense.

Using state and local and country and federal corruption to enable it.

A shallow industry and becoming a data monopoly calling it for the public good. It’s all at consumers and policyholders expense
