It’s just a replacement for FP…… Be happy that they are looking for someone that may actually know something…..

So... you complain when people get laid off, and then you get “physically sick” when there are job postings? Pathetic. It’s a business. There are people working multiple employees prior jobs getting stretched thin for staying employed. You should be happy they are posting new jobs based on business need for once.

Need someone to not push back on Austin Chalk curves even if casing fails or willing to run economic without true cost

They need someone with a “fresh perspective.” A person who is not familiar with CHK’s typical strategy.

Ideal candidate will be naive and won’t push back when mgmt forces them to inflate type curves for production and use unrealistic well costs for economic analysis.

Either that or someone in the C-suite has an incompetent buddy or even more inferior family member that’s looking for a paycheck.

There are literally dozens of engineers let go that could have done that job well. Shameful that Chesapeake is posting that. Shameful. And really shows their true colors that they don't give a flying f about the people they've hired & laid off. Chesapeake is also not understaffed from an engineering perspective based on the amount of activity so why aren't we pulling an internal candidate. I felt physically sick when I saw that job posted
