Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Going down the sewer

I’ve said it a few times to colleagues and I’m going to say it here. This company is heading to the bottom at a breakneck speed. It was a horrible ride and I’m glad to be hopping over to another well-recognized company known to have respect towards their employees. Remaining here will only cause you to feel like a cog in a wheel until those in charge feel you are a drain on their bottom line.

1980s wages plus $17k in 2021 dollars still isn’t much and your new employer is still paying you terribly. Or you’re greatly exaggerating your PEP pay. Which is it?

Me too . I just got hired at a Fortune 10 company and unbelievably ecstatic ! Pepsi was paying me 1980's wages while my new company is starting me out at $17K more. No one batted for me when we got lay off-- no one ! I was too smart for these losers. I'm finally using my degree and going from dump to Country Club.
