It was a UNION that started the call for a day of recognition.

Spread the word. Take off on Labor day and spend the day with family just like the rest of corporate does.

Loss of profit on a holiday would send a message ie.. labor day

It has to be nationwide. Just having a few people or a couple stores doing it won't send the message that we are sick of terrible working conditions. Having no staff anywhere will get the point across.
I say do it Labor Day....that would send a big time message. How ironic would that be?
