While that should be something that’s perfectly normal, no, at Macy’s it has become the reason they start to consider you a slacker...It is an unspoken truth, and I think not at all exaggeration...
I care to keep the job for a while longer until I find something else, but every time I go to lunch I feel it can put me in a situation to lose my job.

Yeah so no they aren’t firing people, we can barely hire people with critical thinking abilities it seems like all the new hires are pothead minors lol.
If you feel discomfort for going to lunch you have obvious problems. Seek counseling
Idk what Macy's you guys work at! No one makes anyone feel bad about taking a lunch. I'm a red badge. We all take our lunches! I may not take 45 mins every day but I take it!
Try a tums. Perhaps a rolaid.
Leave it to Macy's to fire people for not properly clocking their lunch breaks and still make employees feel like they are going to be fired for taking a lunch break!
Don't feel uncomfortable taking lunch. It is your right and responsibility. It is like refueling your car. It is something that you need to do. If you don't take your breaks you run the risk of not being 100% and often that can lead to poor customer service and worse, you might make a mistake and injure yourself.
its called no package and get fired they are firing everyone .. to be replace by cheaper employees.. go get another job
