Chuck told us hiring pause for 30 days and now Fran tells us it will be 1st or 2nd week of new FY before reqs will open.
This is just like Chuck said we would not let people go at the beginning of the pandemic.

They need to let the current bodies hit the floor before fresh blood can be introduced.
You’re mistaken if you thought that all previous reqs would be released.
Leadership needs to reset their headcount plans against the FY22 budgets and prioritize what requisitions are needed. It’s not going to be all of them.

The hiring pause started on June 7th and came from Chuck himself during a leaders check-in. We are 45 days now and reqs are still not open. Fran stated today it would be first or second week of the new fiscal year. Sounds like this was the plan all along but Chuck can’t be honest. I am surprised the woke crowd slamming Chuck. When there is a hiring freeze you can’t hire woke people.

No Check did not lie. What Fran gave is estimate. They have to run business & situation changes. Like good execs, they are reacting so Cisco can grow. That is what going on. Just do not worry about it freeze or layoff. Just do your job best you can & Cisco/you will do very well. Good luck
