Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Three years here are more than enough

I didn't think this was how I would feel only three years after starting here, but here I am. Tired and disillusioned about the "great" job I landed. I was really excited when I started but it took SF less than a year to ki-l all the excitement in me. After three years, the only thing I want is to be out of here.

After almost 8 years, I quit SF in march of this year for another opportunity and let me tell you--- EASILY the best decision I've ever made. I get treated like an adult now, I make way more money, my benefits are way better. SF is honestly cancer.

There are huge costs associated with turnover. Training, administrative, intellectual, and so on. Then, they preach about cutting costs. Wow!

Time to take your experience and market it else where for better pay and working conditions. Other carriers are happy to recruit SF trained people.

Like I said SF, the "kids" of today are not the same that are retiring. They see through you politicized promises. This is one of many examples. SF needs to get away from the act of yesterday and get on with reality if they plan not to keep turnover high.

Oh, honey. You did good. I remember my excitement was gone after the first month and I ended up quitting after not even a year because I hated it so much. I’m so much happier now! I would suggest start looking at your options elsewhere - and they’re out there if you look. SF is not the end all, be all.
