Now that the summer is over and I guess I'm not getting offered a position next year, I can report that the intern program was a waste of my time. Made decent money but it will be almost impossible to get a full-time position when I graduate. I had other opportunities but heard the program was solid. Guess that changed.
That’s only because the 2 10+ employees did the work for the intern to present. Dealing with interns is just a other item on the experienced persons already while overloaded list of chores.
AKBU need all the help they can. Never found anything, except their way to a river to fish and waste money like drunken sailors.
Saw an intern’s update after about 2 months of work with superior products than two 10+ year people provided in over a year with the same data.
I had a few, I sautéed their livers and had them with a nice Chianti.
We have a few. After a few weeks, they know enough to replace 10-20 year experience staff…or so management and HR believe. That whiny 20-something will be your boss in under 5 years. If you’re still around.
