CHARLOTTE — Belk is looking to sublease its 475,000-square-foot headquarters on West Tyvola Road, according to CoStar News.
The publication reports Scott Wilson with Childress Klein is handling the sublease for that space at 2801 W. Tyvola Road. Wilson did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.
There is no way. None. That the Belk buying office can perform its duties with the buyers all working from home or starbucks or the beach! Buying is a very collaborative, subjective and team oriented process.
As for all the other positions, offices, functions run from mordor tower, most if them are likewise not conducive to function in a splintered on-line manner.
How few employees are left in the tower?
One more piece in the ongoing puzzle of what will happen to Belk.
Meanwhile Syc just spent a few more billion on another company. Howz it all make you feel?
