Only $1B for existing fab, no mention of F8.2 details. Trust me, it won't happen with no details at all. Just to trick Uncle Sam for free money.

There is no win for the automotive industry, GF, or Capital region when you keep laying off employees and not having automotive customers.

The only win is the corrupt leadership team eyeing for a golden parachute. Everything is optics for IPO now, not surprised if it will be a case study like Enron in the future.

imagine announcing a new fab, and that being it? Nothing about expenditure, size or renderings. Maybe we missed the fine print*

Can someone confirm that F8 ONLY customer is still AMD?
When I left in 2019, it was still all AMD and I doubt much has changed since then. I don't think F8 has any automotive products qualified and silicon photonics are never in mass production or in the plan. With GF spinning stories out of thin air, someone's gonna pay for it be it Tom or the employees in the future when the craze is over.

new fab push is just a lie ... we all know we are not up to full capacity at F8 .. and we dun have a overflow of POs to justify a new fab unlike the Sgp site ..

the Malta site is struggling .. once AMD moves all orders over to TSMC .. we are done ..
