Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

How many are waiting to quit?

Just curious on how many people are just working until they make everyone go back in the office 5 days a month? Already moved away? I have talked to several people who say they are just going to quit instead of going back to that mess/traffic?

Yes, if you want to cry and complain go to Google, Apple, or Chase and then you’ll really have something to cry about since they are all back in the office multiple days a week.

I encourage all to leave SF. It is so much better at GEICO.

It's not a career anymore. Come and go as you want.

Well you could go work for Apple or Google, who have told all employees they will be in the office 3 set days a week.

Or many JPmorgan Chase or Morgan Stanley who are making employees go back 5 days a week.

I know it’s so crazy that your employee, who PAYS you, actually sets some minimum standards for what they require in return for compensating you.

IMO it should be optional, not mandatory in any way. I know the management urge to watch its workers they view as children and all, but dragging people back into the office for a week of the month is just a pointless pain in the rear for people who are happy with WFH.

Really? You used to have to go into the office EVERY DAY and now you’re complaining about 5 days a month???? Stop complaining.
