Two attorneys were laid off on Friday out of the blue and it’s going to continue. Don’t care who calls BS. TWO of the 3 lead attorneys are also being laid off just don’t know which two yet.

All NY Lead Counsels took the assessment a few weeks ago. Also local managing attorney and 2 National General leaders that would be absorbed as Lead Counsels in NY. It is thought that the company is looking to lay off 2 to 4 Lead Counsels between Allstate and National General. Not sure how the company expects to continue handling and managing the large volume of legal work in NY. Especially with the number of experienced attorneys who took the buy out.

We had 5 lead counsels now down to 2. I think 2 or 3 accepted the early retirement
