Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Info on what's coming

November - TMs will start meeting with employees to discuss the new Future State Operating models- Fire re-org, HRU, Stewardship, Prox....Team Lead structure U/W, Auto/FIre, a lot less TM's-only in the specialized areas, no ratings for employees, like TMs are today, with just a percentage/EIP. Levels of leadership will start getting cut and there will be more targeted transitions for tenured TMs, SMs, and CMs. Most CMs and SMs jobs are gone. AFS and Sales Leaders jobs are basically going away too. Korn Ferry will be utilized to determine who stays and go! Estimatics is done and so are most of Prox-outsourced to third party vendors-transition plans will be offered or more reassignments.

Early offers? There are over 3000 open reds for claims. Bonuses for referrals. No, there won’t be any early offers or even severance opportunities…..

Unfortunately the only piece coming true so far is no ratings for employees going forward. The remainder seems to be just the opposite. A half dozen senior executives canned. TMs get the first big raise in their salary range in 6 years. CAs being offered promotions to CS positions for those working at home. Retention raises. I had hoped this doom and gloom forecast may lead to another round of early out offers. So far, nope.

People have been getting pulled back into places like TL and in my opinion likely never to return. Shoving tenured employees back into roles they and everyone else wanted to get out of s probably a strategy someone came up with. Basically we can do whatever we want with these people. Likely afraid to get a new job, don't want to lose their status, those and probably more decreases the chance someone will quit because they went back to their sh---y claims role.

VPO for estimatics bounced. Just one from what i see. Isn't estimatics getting decimated? didnt like half the people who escaped from total loss to estimatics get pulled back?

Is that really a huge deal though?

Actually 2 tenured VPs announced their retirements today. They get their packages and buy-outs first before the minions are let go!

More to come as promised!

Time frame seems legit. A claims VPO just announced their retirement. Coincidence, Maybe? Who knows.

True….Would be interesting to know who all is married or connected to whom in the decision making and money making circle in Bloomington and hubs

Am sure AFNI, SF, Country, NTT, TEK systems and now retired folks at Accenture and CISCO, Taylor Corp/PII & other “university” types are pushing all this and connected for data grabs.

Small circle. Money hands around between lovers, married employees past and present and leadership

Trolls like to hide it all. It’s nepotistic millions tossed between families and pals. Now chasing the Geicos and Progressives, Allstate’s etc. They, by the way, have many systematic exploitive issues and process issues too despite the push to mobile scalable systems. Sounds all cool and high class tech but people I leadership are not that smart.

Nepotism leads Farm decisions. Follow the $$$. Follow the data stores and whose involved.

You would be surprised. Or not!! It’s a copy cat world. Silicone valley buds

Their actions are disrespectful to the men and women in the trenches doing the important work to keep the business functioning. How someone can trust anyone disrespectful is not comprehensible.

Korn Ferry amd followers of SF leadership are clearly not rocket scientists. Replicating other companies and doing data grabs to exploit employees and policyholders and folks getting quotes online and doing AI for claims has issues. Clearly none of them listen. All bout them. Follow the money.

None of them are your friends. NONE! The higher up you go the less they are to be trusted. Keep your mouth shut, and watch them sell their souls to the evil.

Well SF PR employee, it is know info, I've sat through a huddle where they explained merging departments, so yeah you do actually sound like a management shill, and your writing style of posts are all easy to identify.

I'm more disappointed in no new info.

Hey reh+1bR7...relay to your boss to just communicate with the employees their plans finally and rumors will stop....we all know its coming, we all know its going to be terrible, just do it already.
