As it stands now, Allstate still looks good on your resume. However, the way the company has been doing and all the hits we've been taking to our reputation, I'm not positive that'll always be the case. This means that now is the best time to start sending out applications. Better safe than sorry is all I'm saying.

I remember with the layoffs in California that many insurance companies such as Farmers and State Farm were loving that the ppl that were applying came from Allstate. There is truth to your statement that when it gets ugly publicly they may not care to snag us.
Reputation is taking a hit. Agree it used to be a marquee name on the resume. Now, not so sure.
