Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Another acquisition

I know Bluetab is not a large company (I think they have under 1k employees total) but I wouldn't put it past IBM to use this as another reason for more cuts. If I'm not mistaken, every other acquisition was followed by layoffs. Am I misremembering things?

This plays right into where IBM GBS says they want to be Partnerships Blue tab has relationships with most major financial firms. If any layoffs do occur, they will be out of the GBS side of the house as IBM usually commits to a 1 year employment guarantee for the folks they acquire
