What is going on with this group? Departures left and right, voluntary and through RIFs, invisible GC, unqualified officers. Anyone else feel this way?

I’m also wondering if there’s a hiring freeze. They aren’t replacing anyone who leaves.
Yup. Ever since George/Susie left it's been a hot mess. The two VP's are running in completely different directions and Rhonda is invisible (GC is General Counsel), she has had two meetings since taken over and in both she seemed completely unprepared and unfamiliar with her job, the company, etc.
Majority of SCO's (Staff Counsel Offices) are going "virtual" and that's fraught with problems/challenges, processes change almost daily and people lack the necessary tools and training to do their jobs.
Plus competitors are offering more money and/or guaranteed bonuses and, most importantly, less files or at least file caps.
And turnover breeds turnover; it seemingly takes months to replace anyone and in that time the poor people left are expected to do their work AND cover the work for the open positions.
Add all this up and you have the insane turnover happening in places like FL, GA, TX, etc. And the icing on the cake- the big bosses seem absolutely uninterested and/or incapable of solving this problem which has been going on for years in some markets.
The company has spent MILLIONS on retained counsel in recent years because of staffing problems in the SCO's. The second staff counsel becomes as or more costly than sending files to retained counsel, it's all gonna go away.
What is “invisible GC”?
You must be new here. We have been talking about this for 3-4 months now. Their turn for some TG yo.
