Walmart achieved what they wanted, so that no one is looking for a serious job here anymore, but only a temporary one until they find something better. What can such a strategy bring? I don't know of anyone looking for a temporary job who is willing to do anything more than a bare minimum.

It’s too bad none of you stayed in school, learned a trade or created such a mess of your life your only employment option is to work at Walmart. But, you’ve made your bed so it’s time to sleep in it.
At home office, turnover is atrocious. And everyone I know is trying to leave. Even people we thought were “lifers” have been quitting. That should tell you something.
The turnover is horrendous. The door keeps swinging. No one stays and all you do is hire, hire hire.
Yes, Walmart’s goal is to have no full timers. For example the roll out of the new teaming schedules which I feel it was put in place to push long timers out the door. Walmart doesn’t care about loyalty or tenure it’s all about the money for them.
The trade off is not having to pay benefits because there are no full-time associates vs a revolving door where you are constantly training new hires.
