If you're not looking to leave you're making a mistake. It's obvious that this place does not have a bright future. The company will continue to cut and shrink until nothing of real value is left. And once that happens, its days will be numbered. Whoever is still here at that time will be sorry they didn't react sooner.

Thanks for contributing, HR drone!
Go! We will be much better off without you! Who needs a lazy whiner!
Why would I leave, I get paid to do nothing. Easiest job I've ever had.
Nah…why would I be looking to leave when I know for a fact that COP exists to power civilization and that we aspire to be the E&P Company of Choice? The future sure sounds bright here. After watching the last investors presentation it sure looks like we are an industry leader relative to our peers. It must be all of that Smart Growth, Superior Returns, and SPIRIT Values or something like that.
Wow! Unbelievable! Your so smart! If you love it so much than why are you on this layoff site to begin with? Unless you are in HR lol
Preach OP! Get out and find a different career now, while you still can.
Agree 100% with OP
As a hi-p-t I disagree vehemently with the OP. I’m doing just peachy! Leadership knows me by my first name and I hang out at the coffee shop with my manager 6-6.5 hours each day. I also have regular meetings with my TMT rep to hear how awesome I am. It’s keen. Golly, I don’t know what all the sad sacks are always moaning about. I already got two raises and a promotion this year! This company is fab! I don’t even know how to work the computer machine in my office, other than to rework old PowerPoint slides to put my name all over them. Oh ya! I also can work the emails to send meeting invites to all the big bosses to show off my new slides. I don’t know what all those numbers and colors mean, but the honchos really love them! And they love me! Life is good! So buck up all you little people! When I’m a vice pres in about another year or two, I’ll make sure we get lots more cool apps for our company phones so we can keep occupied during those boring old work meetings!
