Daily before and after photos, of chosen bays, to be sent to your ASM, to be sent to his manager, to be sent to his boss, to be sent to his boss… who will really go through the daily 1000s of photos sent each day…

This is a direct result of "Customer-Centric" staffing. If we are to believe data was collected regarding customers so the AI crunches out a schedule, then where's the schedule for the fixed activities such as zoning, down stocking, IRPs, returns and other examples of day-to-days that didn't go away?
I've been by myself for months now and try to avoid anyone without a mask. In one of Turtle's June 2020 Friday updates he suggested that we could "thank" the customer an move on to the next. No guarantee I'll find a Zebra to work with so I'll figure out IRPs it down stocking from some other associate. The activity of both are zoning issues. Take a picture of that.
Had SM, ASM, two Supervisors down stocking in electrical and plumbing. Brought down wire and put in wrong place. Someone else will have to fix. Ladder left unlocked. Take a picture of that for your snappy.
Such wrong minded conclusions by those orbiting outside our stores. Management generation a check mark for those corporate outsiders who seemingly use the customer centric staffing to do pack down, photography, clean up, aisle repair in place of customers.
So much more to say about all these things. Just suspend belief and forget about the past. This too will change as soon as another group of emails drop from the "head rubing" corporate video gamers building our store with online code of the day.
No need to be concerned about the current edicts, the next quarter will bring something else.
It's not like we still are using a 1980s platform for inventory or good faith. Does FedEx, Target or any modern company not know where their inventory or products are? Yes, but no us, we have to photograph, down stock then photograph to send that information update.
Great job team, I want to thank you for all your hard work.
I had to do it on Sundays for electrical switches and rough plumbing on Sundays for the District Manager.
Same thing for power pack downs, drop everything just to put 5 items on the shelf. Then put it all back in top stock. What a waste of labor.
I dont know what it is with this type of thinking taking pictures before and after for task work that should just be done anyway
Not my problem anymore because I quit 2 months ago.
